Welcome, welcome, welcome! I’m going to be taking part in The Nesting Place’s 31 Days Project, and this is my kick-off page!
I wasn’t at all sure that I was really going to participate in this because it sorta feels like I’ve already got quite a bit going on in my life – adjusting to being back in the classroom, nurturing my marriage when we are a long-distance (albeit not a very long distance) relationship again, struggling with inspiration. While it may seem a little counter-intuitive, the more I’ve thought about it, the more I realize that perhaps being intentional – both here in my writing and in the rest of my life – is perhaps what I need in order to create that sense of balance that my soul seems to be crying out for.
So, after much thought, my 31 Days Project is going to be about finding inspiration. Where does it live? What does it motivate me to do? What forms does it take? Where do I find it?
I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about this whole thing. I need to make sure that my camera is fully charged up for tomorrow, and when I go home on Wednesday, I need to look at my daily writing jogs to see if there’s anything there that speaks to me. Having a plan makes me feel better about the whole situation.
I hope that somewhere in the next 31 Days I post something that speaks to you and creates a spark for you too. Take this journey with me. Welcome to the Project!
