Y’all – I have to apologize. I am so sorry that this post is late getting up. As you may know, my Sner (my mom) and I have been on a road trip this past week. Our original plans were for us to stay in Birmingham, AL tonight, arriving there around 5:00, which would have given me plenty of time to edit photos I took at last night’s Marty Stuart’s Late Night Jam in Nashville, TN and have this post ready to roll out on time (& yes I know that I could have scheduled something to post before. Procrastination, thou name art Jen).
Have I mentioned that we are trying to buy a house? And we are supposed to close on Monday? But apparently the underwriters needed more information and documents (now? You wait until literally 1.5 business days before closing to give me a heart attack? Gee thanks *insert eye roll here*)? Because I’m terrified that this whole thing is going to fall apart between now and 10:00 Monday morning, I decided the more prudent thing to do would be to go ahead and on home rather than staying the night in Birmingham. It’s only about 5 hours, after all. No biggie in terms of the drive.
But that means I didn’t get my post done when I wanted to.
Instead of photos from the Late Night Jam, featuring Marty Stuart, Connie Smith, Charley Pride, Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Church, and Little Big Town (if you’re a country music fan, you’ll know those names , & you should make plans to attend next year if you’re a fan – $30 for 3-4 hours of straight up showmanship with musicians who take their craft seriously), I’m bringing you photos of flowers from Mammoth Spring State Park. I took this intending to share them for a post tomorrow, but tonight works just as well. (I have other flower photos from this trip for tomorrow’s post)
Where I’m linking up today.
Photo Friday Link-Up
And now it’s time for the Photo Friday link-up! Once again this week, our most viewed link came from Betty at Photographing New Zealand. She shared an incredible sunset with us!
Our last-added link came from Prêt-à-Vivre [Ready to … Waltz], featuring the Walls of Rome. If you didn’t get a chance to take a look at it last week, please stop by – there are some outstanding photos in this post!
That brings us to this week’s link-up! As as always, I cannot wait to see what y’all have in store for us!
