I realize that it is no longer Friday, but since I haven’t been to bed, I’m saying that tonight still counts as late Friday rather than early Saturday. It’s been a really long, stressful week, and for me, I needed to take a look at something beautiful.,
When I take pictures, I love playing around with depth of field. For the most part, I like a shallow DoF. I really like that sharp foreground and blurry background. There is something about it that I think is beautiful. One of the things on my list of photography wants…other than a good tripod…is a prime lens with a small aperture.
These photos were taken on our trip to Austin for Sweet Husband Uncle Bubba’s wedding. The one thing SH said he wanted to do when we were in Austin was to visit Stevie Ray Vaughan’s statue. I’ll bring you those photos eventually, I swear, but in the mean time, I have a few photos of flowers (a weed perhaps?) along the river with a shallow DoF.
