Monday was a crappy day, and I entered Tuesday feeling drained – seriously, if you follow me on Twitter, you know that I asked if it was pathetic for me to be in bed before 9:00…and I can’t remember the last time I was in bed before 11:00 at the earliest. Usually I’m up until at least midnight or more like one. I had a couple of small episodes at work, and I’m sure that the emotional turmoil combined with a brewing change in the weather has contributed to this soul-deep exhaustion. All of to say that for this edition of (Almost) Wordless Wednesday, I wanted to be home.
This morning I had plans to grab my camera on the way out the door so I could stop to take pictures of the fields of daffodils – sweet, happy, beautiful flowers, but my scatter brain left the camera sitting on the bed. So today, I head to the archives to bring you photos of home. These beach pictures were taken in early January, in Pass Christian, along Henderson Point and near the harbor.
