It was another one of those perfectly wonderful weekends that happens only here.
We went to Hattiesburg to spend for a celebratory weekend – my birthday and Father’s Day. We drank sangria, ate boiled shrimp, floated in the pool, laughed and spent time with the family. I read two magazines and had intended to dive into a book, but that never happened because we were having so much fun.
We were lazy and carefree and relaxed and it was a perfect weekend.
All good things must come to an end, though, and the work week is beginning tomorrow. There is a lot that needs to be done this week. I’m also hopeful that a little something something that I started working on at the end of the week turns into something big. I have faith that it will. I just have to be patient and keep believing that it will. I can do that.
A weekend of being lazy really takes it out of you, so that’s all I have to say for this evening. More of your regularly scheduled posting tomorrow.
