I don’t have a link for this evening’s post because almost all of them talks out celebrating right where you are, right now.
Here’s the truth: New Year’s Eve has *never* been a holiday that I particularly care about. I’ve never had to go out, never needed to be entertained, never felt the need to celebrate. So tonight, here with one doggie snuggled up next to me, another at my feet, the husband relaxing across from us, in a clean house (every last load of laundry is done! DONE!), preparing for tomorrow, is just fine by me.
I’m not an exciting person. I don’t need much to be happy, and this life I’m building is more than enough for me. As I enter the next year of our life, I’m excited to see where we go, and I’m ready to pursue passion in all it’s various forms.
