I told you in yesterday’s Photo Friday post that I had quite a few more photos to share with you and that I would be bringing them to you this weekend. The time is now!
I really enjoyed being out at POW Lake…I’m kinda hoping to make it back out there this coming weekend with the full moon to take a few more pictures. Perhaps I need to suggest organizing that kind of group shoot for the local photography club. One of the great things about the photography club is that more experienced shooters bring their much nicer gear – like lighting set-ups, etc., and walk others through how to use it. I haven’t taken advantage of that yet but for a moon shoot? I totally would.
To get back to POW Lake, though, one of the things I was fascinated by was the reflection of the clouds on the water. It was just beautiful and amazing to me. Judging by your comments on yesterday’s post, many of you felt the same way.
I mentioned in a comment yesterday that I really dislike my 70 – 300 zoom lens. Perhaps it is because I don’t use it much that it feels like so much work to use – it takes forever for it to focus, the length causes additional shake, my images come out blurry. When I spotted this guy, though, I wished I had it with me.
I wanted to get closer to him, but that was not to be.
I’ll leave you with a few more water shots to soothe your weekend!
