On Saturday June 22, I headed over to New Orleans with one of my very dear friends to take part in American Photo Safari’s 3-hour Garden District photo tour. American Photo Safari is a fabulous way to get to see a small part of the city AND learn how to use your camera under the guidance of a professional photographer. I’ve taken two of the workshops in the French Quarter and learned something crucial about my camera and taking better photographs each time. With a new camera, I wanted to take another tour to get familiar with all the things that my camera can do.
These photos are the ones that made the final cut from the day. I believe I had about 175 shots of the Garden District, and after getting rid of the ones that were terrible and the ones that were just OK, I’ve narrowed it down to 77 photos. Presented here are the best of those 77. Enjoy!
