This past Saturday, I joined a couple of other photographers from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Photography Club for a group shoot in New Orleans. New Orleans is one of my very favorite places ever, and any time I can go to New Orleans, I’m going to say yes. There was a threat of weather all day long, but the clouds didn’t dump their contents and the cover combined with a breeze made New Orleans bearable. We are rapidly approaching the time of year when it just isn’t worth it to make the trip because you are going to be miserably hot and uncomfortable.
The cloud cover made for some interesting photos. Because there was some concern about heading out into more lively sections of the Quarter, we stayed a long the Riverfront. I bought you photos of street cars on Monday; today I’m bringing you some street photography shots – and one of the reasons why New Orleans is so incredible.
There are more New Orleans photos to come so stay tuned for them!
