I know that I’ve already brought you azalea photos as a part of other Wordless Wednesday posts, but I can’t help it. They are currently on the downward slope of their bloom. Most bushes are either in full bloom – like the ones outside of our house on the Coast – or the late blooms on the bush are out and but the majority of the flowers have started to wither and fade away.
I think that these 2-3 weeks are my very favorite of the year – even more so than spring break or Christmas or my anniversary or birthday weeks. I really don’t much like azalea bushes when they aren’t in bloom – they aren’t pretty to my mind’s eye – and the wisteria is starting to bloom as well. For about a week, they are both beautiful together…but I have no wisteria for you this today. Check back on Friday for that 😉
