Late Night Update
It is hard to believe that it's been over a month since I was last here and that it's been almost a month that I've been home. Lots of changes, lots of adjustments, lots of incredibly good things.
We got everything moved home. I have to go pay the rent on my storage unit, which is OK because I really need to go find the box that has some of my bathroom stuff in it, and I could use the tank top that is packed in the other wardrobe. Yes I could buy a new one, but I have a perfectly good one in storage. *I really wanted to make a snarky comment about spending money you don't have, but I'm making an effort to be better. So for the moment, snarky comment is on hold*
I don't have a job yet. That makes me nervous because it means that I will be among those who are desperately vying for jobs as the school year begins, leaving me in a poor situation. I know that something is going to come up. Coming home was the right thing to do so even though there's this little setback, something will happen. I figure that in the next week, I'll write letters to principals and send them with my resume. That way I'm at the forefront of their minds when it comes down to needing to hire someone at the last minute. I actually need to get my application in to Hattiesburg Public Schools tomorrow. *sigh*
In the mean time, I've been working on wedding projects, but I've got to get back to work on those. I think tomorrow we'll be working on getting the jelly made. This weekend I'll hopefully get all of the coffee filter poms slit so that Matt can then begin stringing them. After that I think I'll be ordering the paper to make the pocket folds for the invitations. I actually need to pull out my spreadsheet and see what else I need to do. Order the tent. *sigh* I gotta order the tent.
I've ordered my shoes and they have come in. They are awesome! I cannot tell you how much I love them. I had purchased some gold wedges last week, but the ones that came in today are 1000x kinds of fabulous. I haven't taken them off since I took them out of the box. I love them that much. LOVE them!
There was more to say, but I'm tired and need to get to bed. I have a hair appointment at 8 in the morning.
