St. Patrick's Parade/Mark's Birthday March 15, 2008: The 26th Annual Mal's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Jacksons, Mississippi and Mark's Birthday party in Gulfport, Mississippi. Approximately 320 miles in one day and too many cocktails to count.
Kitaschie National Forest April 12, 2008: A road trip to Alexandria/Pineville, Louisiana with six good friends.
Jazzfest 2008 May 3, 2008 : New Orleans, Louisiana. Through the mud to see Jimmy Buffett with the Mississippi Parents and some of the Sweet Potato queens.
Colorado 2008 May 17-20, 2008 : Denver, Loveland, and Estes Park, Colorado to visit with best friend Shan and her husband Eric.
Green River Lake August 29 - September 1, 2008: Labor Day camping trip to Green River Lake, KY.
Bluegrass Balloon Festival September 27, 2008: Hot Air Balloon Glow Show at historic Bowman Field.
Race for the Cure October 2008: Friends came to visit for the Race for the Cure in Louisville.
Christmas 2008: A trip to Mississippi, including visits with the Allens at Gumbo Acres and a sojourn to New Orleans for a new tattoo.
Bellingrath Gardens Christmas 2008: A trip to Mobile, AL to see the lights at Bellingrath with my friend Brandy. We should have had something to drink before, although we came close enough to getting thrown out without alcohol.O
